Randi M. Smith Speech-Language Pathologist, Owner Randi has been working with children as a speech-language pathologist for 14 years. After completing her schooling at the University of Buffalo, she worked for two years at a development day preschool. After many years in snowy Buffalo, she moved south and started work with the Children's Developmental Services Agencies. After a few years, she had the opportunity to oversee the Southwestern Assistive Technology Resource Center. While this was an invaluable and rewarding experience, Randi eventually decided to get back to her true passion of helping children develop their speech and language skills on a weekly basis and started Capable Kids in 2005. Currently, Randi carries a small caseload and especially enjoys working with children with motor speech disorders. She spends the rest of her time in an administrative and supervisory role with Capable Kids and enjoys mentoring the therapists that work for her. |
