Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists, who hold a NC License and must hold at least a Master's degree, provide evaluations and occupational therapy that focus on fine-motor development and sensory integration. Services are provided in homes, daycares, preschools and other community settings for children of all ages with a variety of needs such as motor planning difficulties, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, sensory integration disorder, and genetic syndromes. Parental involvement in the carry-over of therapy techniques and strategies at home is encouraged.
