Company Policies
In order to provide the best possible services to the families we serve, we ask families to adhere to a few basic policies:
- Families will be billed on a monthly basis for their portion of therapy costs. Payment is due within 14 days of receiving the bill. Late charges will apply if a bill remains unpaid for more than 30 days.
- If there is a change in insurance or Medicaid status, parents are to let their therapist know of the changes immediately.
- If Blue Cross Blue Shield is billed for any of these services, they will send the Explanation of Benefits and any payment directly to you. When you receive these in the mail, please write “Pay to the Order of Capable Kids Home Therapy Co.” and your signature on the back of the check and mail it to us along with the EOB to:

- We do our best to accommodate each of our families’ schedules. For this reason, as new children are added to our caseloads, it is sometimes necessary to change the schedule for existing clients. If this becomes necessary, your therapist will discuss these changes with you.
- If a client has vomited due to illness or had a fever during the 24 hours prior to the therapy session, the family is asked to call the therapist and cancel the therapy session.
- If a parent cancels 50% of the sessions for two consecutive months or has 3 no-shows in a six month time period, we reserve the right to discontinue services with the family, allowing them to find another direct service provider for therapy services.
